Boredom Cinquian

 This week the poem we have been learning about is CINQUIAN PEOMS. The pattern is 

First line Noun

Second line two adjectives

Third line three verbs

Fourth line phrase

Fifth line Noun 

The Three Servants!!!!

 We are created in God's image. This means I have God-given creativity and talents. This week we read a parable of the three servants.

The parable was about a master who was leaving his house to travel, and, before leaving, he entrusted his property to his servants. According to each man's abilities, one servant received five talents, the second received two, and the third received only one. when he came home he asked his servants to return his talents. the first and second returned with twice they had. The third returned with the same amount because he was too lazy to make more profit.

Something that it taught me was to use and develop our gifts (e.g sports, singing) from God for him. There are eight types of gifts- the top two gifts the class say I am most good at are logical-mathematical intelligence and Spatial intelligence. The two I think I'm good at are logical-mathematical intelligence and naturalistic intelligence.

I can apply this to my learning, sports, and my lifestyle.

What Is Creativity???

 In class, we have been learning What is creativity and who is creative?

 This week we have set goals to work towards. These  are the goals I set in my classroom

Doubling And Halving

 In class, we learned a new strategy called Doubling and Halving hji

When you do this strategy you look at the .............x......... then you have to halve the one that is gonna make it easier and the other you double.

.5 x 16-

a) I could double .5 and halve 16 = 1 x 8=8 

b) OR could halve .5 and double 16 =.25 x 32= 8

The easier way is A because it is more accessible during times

                                                                                                                                                                        

6 x 3.5

a) double 3.5 and halve 6= 7 x 3= 21

b) double 6 and halve 3.5= 12x 1.75=21

LIMERICKS!

 In class, I learned about limerick poems.

They are a humorous five-lined poems with a rhyme scheme: AABBA.

Here is an example of a couple. (I wrote independently OR I wrote in my table group)

 Mr Prickett

• I once met a teacher from my school

He was kind of a cool

His name was David Prickett

I always called him Mr Crickett

That was the teacher from my school

Zoe

• I know a young, intelligent girl called Zoe

        She had a nasty friend called Chole

        But they got in a fight

        Sadly, They didn't reunite

That was the girl called Zoe

One from the internet but changed-

• There once was a young, beautiful girl in a tower

Who smelled like a lavender flower

Her hair was like silk

Her skin smooth as milk

That was the beautiful girl from the tower

Apostle Paul 

I once was a man named Saul.

I thought I knew it all.

I persecuted the church.

I went to Damascus to search.

Where Jesus transformed me into Paul.

I had lost my sight

All I could see was night.

I heard Jesus’s voice.

I made Him my choice.

Praise the Lord, I saw the Light.

What Is Sedimentation And Erosion: Emily & Anahera

 In class, we have been learning about the shape of the river and its process. We had to make a create task with a partner or by ourselves. My partner was Emily. Our learning was Sedimentation and Erosion. At the bottom is our task.
